Neolit has negotiated access to 19 mining prospects totalling over 13,000 hectares. These prospects contain at least one old mine where spodumene has been explored in the past, and which presents itself as an obvious drilling target. We are currently surveying the rest of the areas before developing a drilling campaign in more detail.
The area also contains an operational mine for the exploration of lepidolite, where large domains of spodumene mineralisation have also been identified. It’s a zoned body with an estimated thickness of more than 40 m and at least 300 metres in length, where the spodumene mineralization reaches up to at least 10 m in thickness. Neolit has conducted a thorough geochemical channel sampling of the pegmatite body with encouraging result. Further geochemical results are pending for the assessment of the area’s potential as a drilling target for an initial drilling campaign of 1000 m.
