Our flagship project comprises a swarm of pegmatites with high levels of geochemical differentiation and specialization (LCT pegmatites), which favour the crystallization of lithium bearing silicates. The area is located 70 km away from the main lithium circuit of the Araçuaí-Itinga districts, and therefore comprises an exciting new opportunity for lithium exploration in the region.

Neolit holds the rights for the development of 7 mining prospects totalling over 5,000 hectares. Initial geochemical results were beyond expectations, and we are currently developing our drilling plan for the area, which will comprise 2,000 metres of diamond drilling exploration starting in July. Neolit has also secured funds for a further 4,000 meters of drilling, which will be subject to the results achieved at the first campaign.

The project enjoys great support in the region. From the very early days of geological exploration, local collaboration and direct participation of local stakeholders was fundamental to our success in locating and getting access to our drill targets. Our direct involvement and commitment with local communities remains strong to this day.
