Neolit Strategic Minerals started in 2020 in Brazil. We aim at exploring the country’s potential for providing the mineral raw materials needed for the energy and technological transitions required to address climate change. Our focus is on geological exploration and the development of new mining projects targeted at strategic minerals.

We are Brazilian, born and raised, and as such, we know the realities on the ground and are prepared to deal with local challenges. We are fully committed not only to our partners and investors, but also to the local communities that may benefit from or be impacted by our projects, making sure we always operate within the highest ESG standards. 

Brazil comprises a vast and varied landmass with enormous geological potential. Knowledge of the country’s geology, as well as its social, economic and business environments is essential to the development of Brazil’s still incipient exploration of strategic minerals. With our local knowledge and geological expertise, we are placed in a privileged position to pursue this growing trend in one of the world’s largest economies.

André Rezende Guimarães

André Guimarães is a Geology graduate (PhD) with over ten years’ experience in research. Since founding Neolit in early 2020, he has coordinated and been directly involved in all field work and contract negotiations. With a PhD on igneous petrology, at Neolit he participates directly in the analyses and interpretation of geological data, especially with regards to the geochemical results.

Before his career in geology, he also worked as an archaeologist, participating in rescue archaeology projects associated with the development of mining sites in Brazil. During this time, he has acquired first-hand experience with the social aspects and all the foundational work required for the development of a mining site.

Camila Alves

Camila Alves graduate in business management and specialized in finances and management control systems. Since 2012, she has worked with the financial planning and budget management in several different business segments.

She joined Neolit in early 2021, where she took over the financial and logistics management of the company and has been involved in all stages of the projects developed so far. Before she joined our team, she worked as a trader where she not only got directly involved with negotiating deals on a case-by-case basis but also contributed with the marketing strategies.
